Lending Policies

We no longer accept ALA forms, fax or e-mail requests. Please contact us (see below) to have an account set up on our ILLiad system. All requesting will be done through ILLiad on the Internet.
Logon to ILLiad for Lending
We accept requests via: OCLC (NNY) and ILLiad
Charges:
- No charge for libraries with reciprocal agreements
- We encourage OCLC's IFM for payment
- In-State Public Libraries: $5.00
- In-State Academic Libraries: $10.00
- In-State Corporate Libraries: $15.00
- Out-Of-State Libraries (Public, Corporate): $15.00
- Out-of-State Academic Libraries: $15.00 or reciprocal charges if you charge us more than $15.00
- Rush requests: Add $5.00
We lend:
- Most circulating materials
- University of Nevada, Reno dissertations and masters theses. Also available through UMI since 1976.
- Microfilm
- Government Publications (U.S. Depository from 1907)
Non-Circulating:
- Microfiche
- Audio-Visual. Contact the UNR Multi-Media Center for information on video loan (775-682-5413)
- Reference
- Special Collections
- Serials
International Interlibrary Loan: Will lend on a case-by-case basis. Accept IFLA Vouchers (2). Charge US$24 per transaction. Require that materials be returned via Air Mail.
