Most computer science and engineering books and printed materials are housed in DeLaMare Library.
If you have questions about DeLaMare Library collections or policies, please direct them to Brenda Mathenia, Head DeLaMare Library (682-7377) and engineering subject specialist; bmathenia@unr.edu).
If you have questions about using computer science information resources, please contact Araby Greene, computer science subject specialist (office:

and Web resources.
Finding Specific Journal Articles
Some indexes and databases have links to full-text articles, but many do not. The library has a service, called "SFX" that provides links to
full-text articles across licensed database services that use the "open-URL" standard.
If you see this button, click it for links to full-text and other information:
If you have identified an article that is not available in the database in which you found it, and there is no "SFX Find It!" access, try our
Citation Finder. If that doesn't work, look up the journal title (not the article title) in
the library catalog or Quick Search for Titles.
If UNR does not have access to the journal, request an Interlibrary Loan. Journal articles are now
delivered on the Web whenever possible!
Contains records for journals the library owns in print format, and links to thousands of electronic journals.
The library catalog does not contain records for journal articles; you must use an index or database to identify relevant
articles. Some databases do have links to full-text articles, but others do not.
A comprehensive search for a specific journal should include both the library catalog and the alphabetical list of electronic journals
because some journals are not available in electronic format.
Includes masters theses as well as doctoral dissertations. 1861- present. Dissertation abstracts available 1980- present; Master's theses
abstracts, 1988- present. To find UNR dissertations and theses type the UNR institution code and your search term in the search box. For example:
SC(0139) AND genetic algorithms
Alternatively, you can go to the Advanced search screen and use the School Index to add an institution code to your search. Use the Preview
function to see the first 24 pages of any thesis or dissertation. Click FREE DOWNLOAD to save a UNR paper! You may request an Interlibrary
Loan for other dissertations or order online with your credit card.
This page has links to stable, quality resources that should be of interest to computer science students. If you know of a link that should
be added to this page, or should be deleted, or if you find a broken link, please notify Araby Greene.
