- Circulation Policies
- Computers - The LHS Library provides 11 computers with access to a wide variety of online resources.
- Copying/Printing - Photocopying is available for 10 cents per page using self-service copiers. Copy cards may be purchased at the LHS Library Service Desk. Laser printing from the Library computers is available for 10 cents per page.
- Reference and Research Assistance - Research assistance is available by walk-in, telephone at 784-6616, email or by appointment. Reference hours are normally 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, but arrangements may be made for appointments outside of these hours. If reference help is not currently available you may wish to try contacting the Getchell Library Reference Desk ((775) 682-5657), or Live Help.
- Instructional Services - To assist course instructors we can provide specialized classroom instructional sessions, course-specific web pages, customized library assignments, or library tours. Contact Amy Shannon (682-6624) for details. See also Library Instructional Services.
- Course or Instructor Reserves - Materials placed on reserve by instructors are available for circulation. Loan periods are determined by the Instructor. The collection consists of library and personal copies of books, articles, sample exams, homework solutions, lecture notes and models. Some materials are available through the Internet. Check the Library Catalog under Course or Instructor for material availability.
- Book Sale - The LHS Library has a small book sale area where donated used books are sold to raise funds for the Library. These books are a great bargain at $1.00 for hardbacks and 50 cents for paperbacks. For a larger selection of used books, visit the Book Nook in the Getchell Library.
