The Charter Collection contains 300,000 images covering a broad range of world cultures in many mediums including painting, architecture, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design. It is projected that by 2006 the database will contain 500,000 images. ARTstor has several distinct collections such as the Art History Survey Collection, the Carnegie Arts of the United States Collection, and The Huntington Archive of Asian Art. The images in ARTstor are for non-commercial educational and scholarly uses only.
